Dr Frank Mallawaarachchi began his medical career in Sri Lanka, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 2004. He went on to gain registration with the General Medical Council in the UK before relocating to Australia in 2008. His broad clinical experience includes general practice, surgery, orthopaedics, and plastic and reconstructive surgery — forming a strong foundation for his work in cosmetic medicine today.

Dr Frank takes a client-centred approach to cosmetic medicine, with a focus on enhancing natural features through personalised, clinically informed treatment plans. He believes that every face reflects a person’s individuality, and enjoys working collaboratively to explore treatment options that feel aligned and authentic.

He is committed to creating outcomes that feel natural and well balanced, and views cosmetic care as one part of a broader picture of health and self-care.

Ongoing Education and a Creative Eye
Dr Frank has completed further training in Cosmetic Medicine in both Canada and the USA, including certification through the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, cosmetic injectable training in Toronto, and advanced coursework in skin and hair therapies. He continues to engage in ongoing professional development to refine his technique and stay current with developments in the field.

Beyond the Clinic
Outside of his clinical work, Dr Frank maintains an active lifestyle and enjoys cycling, running, and regular gym training. He also has a strong interest in the arts and finds painting to be a meaningful creative outlet — one that helps him stay focused, calm, and connected.
